Privacy Policy

Discord identifiers. Guild IDs, channel IDs, role IDs and user IDs are stored so that Swelly can associate settings, playlists and premium activations with the right server and account. We do not store message content beyond what is required to execute a command.

Configuration data. Custom prefixes, DJ roles, 24/7 settings, language preferences, request channels and vote-skip thresholds.

Music data. Saved playlists, queue history and track requests linked to your Discord user ID.

Billing data. Premium subscriptions are processed by Patreon and donations by PayPal. We receive only the identifiers required to link an entitlement to your Discord account. We never receive or store card numbers.

Technical data. Aggregate analytics such as page views, referrers, device type and command usage counts, plus error logs used for debugging.

To operate playback and queues, remember your settings, deliver and verify premium entitlements, prevent abuse and rate-limit misuse, respond to support requests, and improve reliability and performance. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

Where the GDPR applies, we process data to perform our contract with you (operating the bot and premium entitlements), on the basis of legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, product improvement), and with consent where required (non-essential cookies and analytics).

Our website uses strictly necessary cookies for core functionality and privacy-friendly aggregate analytics to understand traffic. Analytics data is not used to identify individuals. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to the site. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Swelly interacts with Discord, Patreon, PayPal, Top.gg and audio sources including YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Twitch and Deezer. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We share only the minimum data needed for these integrations to function.

Server configuration is retained while Swelly is a member of the server and deleted within 30 days of removal. Playlists are retained until you delete them or request account deletion. Error logs are retained for up to 30 days. Billing records are kept as long as required by law.

You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your data at any time. Requests are handled through our support server and are normally completed within 30 days. Deleting your data may remove playlists and premium activations linked to your account.

Data is stored on access-controlled infrastructure with encryption in transit. Access is limited to the small number of maintainers who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users of any breach that materially affects them.

Swelly follows Discord's minimum age requirements. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below the minimum age in their jurisdiction, and will delete such data if we become aware of it.
